CHNIG Mentorship Program

Posted on Nov. 11, 2022, 10:41 a.m.

Dear CHNIG members,

We hope this email finds you well. The RNAO Community Health Nurses' Initiative Group (CHNIG) wants to invite you to become a mentor as we launch our mentorship program for undergraduate BScN students!

This mentorship program connects BScN students and current Community Health Nurses (CHNs) or Public Health Nurses (PHNs) so that they may discuss the ways in which nursing is practiced in community and public health settings. Students, as mentees, and current CHNs/PHNs, as mentors, are expected to connect 1 to 3 times over the course of 4 months. Mentors can provide guidance on many topics, such as the path to becoming a CHN/PHN, the rewards and challenges of community nursing, and more!

If you are interested in becoming a mentor or learning more about this opportunity, please visit the following Google Form Link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfzT9M6eKd173T3-PcjFIgCH2PMmTomlucqM32lLWHxDAXKzQ/viewform?usp=sf_link

Thank you for your time and consideration! Please reach out to communications@chnig.org if you have any questions.

All the best,

CHNIG Student Committee"
