Have you registered for our workshop yet? Registration is now open for the upcoming workshop, Influencing System Change Community Health Nurses, on Saturday March 28th, 2020 – 8:30am - 4:00pm taking place at the Novotel Hotel (3 Park Home, North York).
The goal of the workshop is to have leaders in Community Health Nursing provide their perspective and experience related to the implementation of the Ontario Health Teams and Public Health modernization by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and its
impact on Community Health Nursing.
Hear from futurist Dr. Zayna Khayat as she reflects on how health care is evolving. As well, listen as leaders in Community Health Nursing (Susan McNeill, Katie Dilworth, Andrea Carter, and Dorothy Wedel) lead discussions as our expert panel. Finally, the day will conclude as speaker Ruth Schofield presents on engaging nursing students for new models of health care.
Our workshop objectives include:
- To examine the current trends for effective health systems
- To share the population health approach in building an effective health system
- To explore how Community Health Nurses guide and influence this health
- System transformation
