Do you have questions or thoughts about the nursing crisis? Do you have an experience to share as an RN, NP or nursing student in the past year?
Join us on Sept. 23, 2022 between 6 and 8 p.m. for our #FallTour with RNAO President Dr. Claudette Holloway who will speak about the nursing crisis affecting the province and nation as well as RNAO’s relentless advocacy to repeal Bill 124, expedite the application process for internationally educated nurses and address the systemic anti-Black racism and discrimination that exists in the nursing profession.

We are excited to share that RNAO’s annual general meeting (AGM) will be taking place virtually from June 9-11, 2022. The Region 6 will be able to send 21 members as consultation representatives. As a consultation representative, members will weigh in on resolutions that will help shape the association's agenda and focus. Deadline has been extended until Friday May 13th at 5 PM.
You will be required to attend 2 Mandatory sessions:

Region 6 is looking for individuals to represent the region as a Consultation Representative at the 2021 Annual General Meeting to be held virtually on June 24 - 26, 2021.
Main sessions are: 1) Thursday, June 24: 2-4pm and 2) Friday, June 25: 4-7pm.
There are currently 10 spots remaining.

Who can be a consultation representative?
Each Chapter/Region without Chapters is entitled to one or more representatives based upon the number of Members in the Chapter/Region without Chapters according to the following formula:
Provincial Interest Groups are eligible to 1 consultation representative
Region 6 - Toronto West is eligible to a maximum of 21 consultation representatives for the RNAO’s 2021 AGM taking place virtually on Friday, June 25, 2021 (4:00 - 7:00pm).
Consultation Representatives weigh in on resolutions submitted by members that will help shape the association’s agenda. The AGM is your chance to see your association at work for you and is a great place to meet your nursing colleagues from across the province.

Region 6 – Toronto West is excited to announce our Career Fair Webinar taking place on Saturday, January 30th, 2021, from 2:30-4:30 p.m.
We would like to inform nurses and nursing students of many career opportunities that exist outside of the hospital setting and assist you in preparing for these openings. Come meet an incredibly diverse group of nurses speaking about their various pathways to their unique fields of nursing!
